means retailers who either provide smart lockers at their location or offer an In-store collection service;

means a natural person whose personal data is processed by the Company and its processors;

In-store collection

means the service that enables users to collect their Parcel in-store from a Business Partner location of their choice;

Parcel

means any form of package and its content as delivered to the smart locker or to a Business Partner location for In-store collection;

Personal Data

means “any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person” as defined in Article 4(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation;

Processing

means “Any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction” as defined in Article 4(2) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Smart Locker Purchase

refers to the purchase of a one time use of a Smart Locker or In-store collection service. One Smart Locker Purchase entitles a User to receive one delivery to a Smart Locker or In-store collection at their selected location;

Shipping Service Provider

refers to the courier or postal service operator that delivers a User’s Parcel to a Smart Locker or Business Partner location for In-store collection;

Service

refers to the fully integrated method of privacy as designed by the Company for protecting Users’ payment information as well as having Users’ online purchases delivered anonymously to a Smart Locker or Business Partner location for In-store collection;

Processor

means “a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller,” as defined in Article 4(8) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

User Account

means the account created by a User on the Website, which enables a User to securely log in and make use of the Services.

User

means a Data Subject who accesses the Website or makes use of the Service.

6.   What personal data do we collect?

We believe in the principle of data minimization, which is why we only collect the personal data that is necessary for us to deliver our Service.

We collect Personal Data and Anonymous Data from you when you visit our Website, when you create a user account, when you contact us through the website or when you enter into a transaction for Smart Locker Purchase on the Website using your prepaid visa card.

Personal Data we collect may include your email address, payment card details, the content of your communication with us, and a photographic image taken at the time when the parcel is collected from our smart lockers. Anonymous Data is collected when you access our Website, and it cannot be used to identify you as an individual.

We collect the following personal data from you:

  • Account Holder Data. We collect your username and a valid email address from you at the time you create your user account on the Website;
  • Customer Support Data. When you send any support requests or inquiries to us through our contact page or via email we will collect your name, email address and the content of your message;
  • Transaction data. When you make a smart locker purchase, we may collect some   information about the transaction such as the size of locker selected by you, your selected location as well as payment data if you select to pay by prepaid visa card;

7.   Why do we process your personal data?

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Account Holder Data
    We process your personal data to create your User Account on the Website; to enable you to log into your User Account; to enable you to purchase smart lockers from your user account, and to send you all confidential notifications regarding your parcel including the OTP for unlocking your smart locker.Legal Basis of Processing

    Data 
    Retention Duration
    We will retain this personal data for the entire duration that your User Account is active on the Website. If your User Account is terminated, we will not retain your personal data for longer than necessary for our business or legal compliance purposes. The maximum duration for which we may keep your User Account data will not exceed one month from the date of your account termination.
  • Transaction Data
    We will use your transaction data to ensure that we bill you correctly for the smart locker/in-store collection service that is used for your parcel delivery and to address any disputes or issues arising with your transactions.Legal Basis of Processing

    We will retain your transaction data until such time that your parcel has been collected from our smart locker.   • Customer Support Data
    We will collect your name, email address, and the content of your message when you send us any support requests/inquiries by contacting us via email at andrew@shipanon.com or by using the contact form on the Website. We do not sell or rent your personal data to any third party. We only share your order number with our Business Partners who offer In-store collection service, and our Business Partners cannot identify you as an individual from this order number.

    Your personal data will be shared with our employees on a need to know basis to enable them to deliver our Website and Services to you.
  • Merger or Acquisition
    In the future, if we undergo a merger or acquisition, your personal data, such as the account holder data, transaction data, and customer support data, will form part of our business assets and may be transferred to the new entity. Please note that any transfer of your personal data as a result of a commercial transaction will not negatively impact your privacy rights as specified in this privacy policy.
